Caris and Pablo were scheduled also to compete at this event, but Pablo colicked the monday before the show. He was taken to A&M the following monday for a video. A mass of cells was found in his esophagus leading to his stomach, biopsy revealed it was non malignant. A&M is currently discussing methods to remove this, as well as research further into his colicky episodes. The pair should be ready to debut at 3rd level this fall.

April 22nd, 2005: UbiSoft Video Game Shoot

Quimero and I were selected by a talent scout in the area to be stunt horse & rider for a company called Ubisoft based in France. Ubisoft is producing a video game targeted to young girls... it is a video game of dressage. Ubisoft contacted Alchemy studios (one of two companies in the entire world that is capable of motion capturing equine movement... we had to be careful not to get the photos too close up because they are still proprietary) who then found Q & i as an example of an upper level dressage pair to exhibit all dressage movements. The "motion capturing" that is done consists of us wearing these... "refelector balls" at all joints in our bodies... and that is all that these cameras are designed to see are the balls. I ride through the shoot and the area that the cameras pick up is only about 8 meters in diameter! talk about difficult!... its one thing to be able to do flying changes but being able to do them on an exact "X" on the ground... not so easy... :-) ... but fun !
